| THE HAIRSTAngus's traditional festivalFor several years I worked as a programmer and consultant in conjunction with Christine Kydd to develop traditional music concerts and workshops as part of the development of the Hairst Festival in my home region of Angus. People we were able to bring to the county included Martyn Bennett, Salsa Celtica, Boys of the Lough, Jock Tamson's Bairns, Jock Duncan and Emily Smith, amongst many others.
